We stayed at a caravan park in Batchelor and drove into Litchfield National Park.<\/p>\n
We liked it at Florence Falls. We swam over to the waterfall. We saw lots and lots of fish. Mum thought there were too many people there.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n This is me and Matt searching for some fish.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I have just come up from looking for some fish.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Matt is waiting for a shot with the camera.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We went looking for fish. We saw these strange black fish. Some were as long as Matt’s arm.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Matt is swimming over to the waterfall on his noodle.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Buley Rock Pools<\/strong><\/p>\n This is one of our favourite swimming places. This pool is colder than the others.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This one was so deep we could do bombs in it.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Matt just did a bomb.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Termite Mounds<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n This is a cathedral termite mound. It is about 50 years old.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This is another one.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n These are the many many many magnetic termite mounds. They are facing north and south. They were built in this way to keep the colony cool during the day.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Wangi Falls<\/strong><\/p>\n The next day we went swimming at Wangi Falls. We swam to the waterfall. This one was easier to swim to. We climbed into a little pool by the left fall. It may have been small but it was very deep. We couldn’t touch the bottom. The water fall on the right was cold, the one on the left was warm.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tolmer Falls<\/strong><\/p>\n We couldn’t go down to the bottom of Tolmer Falls because there were ghost bats living there. They are endangered and must be protected. Can you see the waterfall between Matt and me?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Can you see the caves where the bats live?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Lost City<\/strong><\/p>\n The next day we drove along a 4-wheel drive track to a place called The Lost City. It was really hot there.
